Extreme Ironing

Tip of the Day
When I throw off the hump, I use my wet wood knife to carve quite a bit below the piece (to give it stability for transporting off the hump) while the wheel is still spinning. Then I use my other hand to balance the piece on the wood knife and transfer onto a drywall square. The extra bit at the base is then trimmed into a foot when the piece is leather hard.
